Career Tip of the day

Self

Pull out your checkbook and calendar for the last few months when you were still employed or successful i your employment. Take a look at how you spent your money and your time. That will show what really matters to you. Where did the Kingdom of God figure in? How did you spend your free time when it was in short supply? Did you invest in the Kingdom? What did you do with your paycheck? Could it be that you are being held back even now by wrong priorities? Now is the time to settle your heart on things of eternal worth. Ask God where He wants you to place your focus. Decide now how you will spend your treasure when you get a new job. Make plans to anchor your heart in Kingdom priorities.

WORDS OF LIFE:

  • I claim Jesus as the Lord of my life and the King over all that concerns me.
  • My treasure is in the Kingdom of God.
  • By faith I receive a heart that is fixed on the plans and purposes of God alone. My life reflects His rule in it.

Word of the Day

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Matthew 6:21
